My Pet Peeves

1.      People who don’t get sarcasm: I love sarcastic remarks and find them funny and witty, but what irritates me is when someone can’t tell that I am kidding. Some things I say should not be taking in offense as I am only joking around. Sarcasm is meant to be funny and should be easily recognized.

2.      Text Talk in actual conversations: If you say lol and btw chances are I don’t like you. This to me is extremely annoying to hear someone constantly speak in text lingo.

3.      People who blame the leader for everything: I strongly dislike when I hear people just blaming all of the government’s actions on Obama. Some people need to realize we do not live in a monarchy and many people make decisions in government. Congress makes many decisions and there are over 500 people to blame. People tend to blame the highest position of power for even decisions not made by them.

4.      “How was your day son?”: Mainly when I was younger I would receive this question after every day of school. Is there no other question you want to ask or can think of than how was my day? But hearing this question throughout many years of my life it is like I am programed to respond “good”

5.      Crazy Embellishments: When telling a story it is only natural to maybe bend the truth for whatever reason and give yourself more of a heroic role. But what I don’t like is when one goes to extreme extents to make them look like a hero or godly. Please people save your stories of you slaying dragons on your way to the moon.

6.      Inefficiency: I value my time dearly and do not want to more time than I need to on a task. Sometimes I even go to extreme manners only to save a miniscule amount of time. So I don’t like it when I am forced to do something one way when I know I can do it faster another way. My pursuit for efficiency sometimes leads me to trouble as in messiness.

7.      New Cartoon shows: Back in my day, cartoon shows used to be good. The classics were in the late 90s and early 2000s such as Rocket Power, Hey Arnold, and Rugrats. Nowadays, the cartoon lack the substance it just doesn’t have the X factor.

8.      Conceited people: I have a strong distain for people who are just full of themselves and think they are above everyone else. It erks me when someone only cares about their image.

   9 . The Manning Brothers: On one hand you got Eli who took two Superbowls away from the Patriots. I also don’t like the elite talk with Eli and I think he proved that he is not last year with 27 interceptions. On the other hand, you have Peyton who I hate because he has been our rivals for ever and more times than not we defeat him, but for some strange reason ESPN thinks he better than the GOAT Tom Brady. It is all about winning in the NFL and no one does it better than Brady.
